Serline has accumulated over 12 years’ experience, within the civil service; in the housing division, working in specific areas; Housing Options, Customer Service Officer, Monitoring Specialist. During this time, she Developed and nurtured professional relationships with the clients, she carried out detailed and robust assessments of each nominated household’s accommodation needs. Providing specialist housing advice, offering comprehensive, person-centred guidance on a range of issues. Which has allowed her to seamlessly fit into her current role as a Client Financial Affairs Officer managing caseload of clients, managing their finance and affairs, including property, on their behalf, processing payments, carryout reconciliations, attend financial reviews, complete Court of Protection applications, submit reports to the Office of the Public Guardian as well as dealing with clients, carers and family members.
Serline is an energetic and enthusiastic person who's genuine and open, has a friendly approach to the tasks that she undertakes being very passionate about her work enables her to work to a professionally high standard in a busy environment. She diligent and a competent person, managing time effectively, prioritising numerous tasks at one time, work towards deadlines and adapting to changing situations as required.
These qualities are very important in her current role and demands intellect and initiative. She has a strong belief in fairness and help those that are more vulnerable, so does Volunteering Work; cooking and feeding the homeless on a weekly bases.
On her days off she enjoys time with her two daughters, cooking, baking, shopping, socialising with friends and going to see family. I love meeting new and interesting people. I am very intrigued by people who have been places and have wonderful stories to tell. I have been fortunate to have travelled to many different places around the world and experience new cultures.

After a career in banking for 18 years having built experience in management, branding, marketing, sales and all other aspects I decided to form my own company. Nabila is a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist (CBT). She acquired a solid foundation in CBT at University College, London (PgDip Low Intensity CBT), Royal Holloway University (PgDip High Intensity CBT) and Brunel University (BSc Psychology), which she has applied and developed in wide range of professional settings.
She is a BABCP (British Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Psychotherapies) accredited member.
She has worked in the NHS in both inpatient and community settings, prison services, education systems and charity organisations and has treated clients with a range of psychological difficulties. As a result of her experience she is able to quickly identify an individual’s needs and tailor a highly effective CBT treatment according to them.
The key principles of CBT are to identify and change unhelpful thinking and behaviors and find better ways of coping, thus resulting in improved mood. The approach is very practical and with a strong evidence base, the results are often quick and effective.
